Even though I finished it I was not a fan of the forced relationship and all the obvious non-con. They tried to patch it all up nice and softly like nothing had happened about 2-3 chapters from the ending. That's not closure, that's coverage. The lover is a vile bastard who can't keep anything to words and the ML is a saint whose too prideful because anyone else likely would've committed suicide in his shit fan of a life.

What a crazy friggin' trip this entire thing is.

It's interesting. I hated the start, because he was so gullible and I am not a fan of rape reads. Yet I've continuously read this as it's been updated. But then it became more than that. You know how smut and story telling don't mix? THIS ONE GOT IT RIGHT. The plot veers from rape to regret and admonishment, both of their personalities REALLY show through. There is pleading, bribing, blackmail, but along side it is cuteness, genuine feelings, comedy? It's containing tons of things in one basket and handling it WELL! I've still not managed to get to the 5 star point just yet because, as I said before, the rape aspect was putting me off. But because of how genuine it's being I bumped it up to 4 stars for the time being. Even if you're not a fan of rape/kinks I recommend this one if you're able to get past it.

Rough start but I love the twists!

Absolutely not my taste. I still enjoy the art and general gist of the story but the ML is overly forceful, essentially rapes his stepsister WHILE HE MAKES HER TALK ON THE PHONE WITH HER BOYFRIEND. The sister, reasonably, tries to distance from them and I was happy - a FL that takes charge! And then she caved and everything was patched up and lovey-dovey within like a days time in the manga universe. All in the name of love. She had a boyfriend, she didn't have feelings for her brother, and she protested every single thing he did to push that point. They then bypass her feelings on all those other matters and go "But he's much closer to you than family!! And you're not blood related, sooo-" and I slap the board with the boyfriend and the non-consent rape to which she flips the finger at me and just macks on him. Infuriated.

Be forewarned that this Manhwa is fucked up. It's not a light hearted romp and redeeming romance, it's vile and scummy. There is sexual violence, gore, and blackmail. This is not something I typically enjoy since it's so crude and mean but at the same time I find myself enamored with the plotting and the relations. Again, this is not a easy read, but considering I enjoyed it as I did despite not being into these genres that proves it's doing something right in regards to me reading 100 chapters in one sitting.

It's super fucked up and I legit wasn't expecting it. I'm relieved I didn't read the tags because I would NOT have read this typically. It's super psychological and involves rape so if either of those are instant red flags don't touch this one because it's practically the basis of this one shot.

Heads up, this is a toxic psychological nightmare of smut, non-con and gore. DO NOT READ THIS AS A LIGHT ROMP. That being said, considering that's not the genre I'm usually interested in this is FASCINATING. Mind you I'd like this even more if it did turn into a romance thing but the fact is that's highly unlikely as it is a adaptation of a novel. The MC is forced to inhabit with powerful insane beings who don't even treat him as a human being while he tries to maintain his sanity and his morals. I find it all darkly wondrous. Not in the "I wish that were me" but more so "What a plot! Glad it's just a story!"

I don't like the mood of these. The first one feels hella rapey and stockholm syndrome. I was uncomfortable, but that's personally. The second shorter story makes a little more sense, still rapey but not stockholm so that pulls it outta the one star category.
