Hoezura ni Kamitsuku Kisu
Wish the chapters english translation was a little better, but I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth and it's all really cute!
Terano-kun to Kumazaki-kun
Quick and effective! Real cute, they build up a good relationship between the main duo, they give it drama without being ridiculous, and I was invested in the characters they laid out. I wish they'd pursued a bit more story wise with the friends or the rival but I'm content with what is before me!!
Tadatada Suki to Iu Dake de
Kinda flat and redone but it's still nice!!
Omae no Koi wa Ore no Mono
Kinda wish there was more to the judo/karate thing I feel like it was used to fill the story with something else but they only really utilized the judo specialist for one bit and the karate specialist for a wooing scene.
I Devote My Youth To Shizuka
This is a soft yaoi manga about two guys in track and field and complications. The only thing that relays the track and field aspect besides, y'know, the actual sport would be the fact that the pacing is SO FAST CONSTANTLY. I read 15 chapters and each time I could feel my eyes scrunching, brain processing how we jumped from one conclusion to the next. And that's when I gave up reading when I considered the fact I had to keep track of where we were like it was studying for a test. Someone will surely like this, but let it be known that a lot of the beginning feels like rape just because the pacing does nothing to help solidify their relationship.
Itou-kun wa Koi wo Shiranai.
Absolute darlings I love them!! It's so quirky and delightful while giving you moderate drama. I wish the drama was a bit more flushed out, but I have no complaints otherwise I come back and read this atleast twice a year!!
Shake Your Ass While Riding on Me!
Of this authors work this is the most interesting. The female lead still fits the quota that I despise : ditzy bob cut hair with huge eyes and no clue how the world works. HOWEVER, this one actually has some manner of head on her shoulders. Still forcefully pulled into the plot, but she actually expresses opinion every now and again. I appreciate the ML a lot. He's still relatively got the generic face they stick to, but he's a dweeb otherwise who's actually a fun character. I like his backstory and his reason for being in the reporters club, while she has none other then she respected the alumni and wants to write cute articles. Now, do I approve of all the undercover near rape she experiences? No, but that opinion is moot with this author apparently since that's every damn manga. Of all of them though this is my favorite. Take that with a grain of salt and a 3 star that it's CERTAINLY not for everybody, I can't even confidently remark that it's for me, but it's my favorite of their works. Take it or leave it.
