It's about a woman acting as a man in a man world, and struggling to be recognised as an equal. Her family wanted her dead, so they sent her to war. After several years of war, she is demoted and get's captured by the enemy. The blond emperor will recognise her talent and hire her in his service. This story is really slow at the begining. It only gets good as from chapter 21. I laugh a little, 5 or 6 times (I don't laugh easily).
The chapter about the initiation is the best for the moment for the moment. Currently at Ch37. There is little action, no romance yet, nothing really interesting a part from her fighting to earn recognition. The emperor gives her the opportunities to prove that a woman too can be efficient and fearless. So it's the relationships that make it interesting. It should have been 50 times better, but it's good enough. The romance has arrived last page of season 1, ch44. He will try to declare, hence several funny situations. Ch 46: The emperor Lucius and Pauliana share a bath, whaaaaaaat ! lol. Ch 66: OMG Disciplining the guards, and Zaino, WtF. It was brilliant. Blink and the devil appears ! Loved it. Power to firm women ! Ayoooo ! OK OK 2nd season is indeed hilarious ! Waw this is turning out to be one of my best reads ever. So funny ! Season 4 starts at Chap146. Chap 194, this is my first time crying of happiness whilst reading a manga ! WAW !
