Soul was eaten by his sword. Boy reincarnates. Finds his 'sword' again (next door neighbour) without realizing who/what he is. Current situation. Creepy demon guy conducting human experiments. Wants soulless boy. Baaaad move.

Seems to be the mangaka's first work? - the winner of a fantasy comic competition. Doesn't seem like they've done anything since :(

I can't even laugh at this anymore. Why are all the characters so extreme? Dog is actually a wolf-god. Swordswoman only knows how to wield her sword at everything. Chef makes extravagant meals. ... Wait. If the cat can teleport why didn't it teleport in and get the damn flower and out again??? FFS!

I'm pretty sure that it's the same dude reincarnated --- along his blood line, ending up with the same vampire. I think?? Unless it's some kind of shared memories in the bloodline? But yeah.. It kinda got boring/uninteresting/predictable -- but also goddamn confusing!
