I'm so annoyed by this. So annoyed. That goddamn guy on the cover is probably going to be endgame and I can't stand the thought. Because he lied to you, and then you ended up being tortured as a result. And now I hate him. And every chapter I'm all -- everyone is a conniving weasel probably with the aim of creating the ultimate weapon (but screw your feelings because you're no longer considered a human so they don't count... Argh I'm so pissed off - and I don't know if it's worth continuing reading.
