2/1/2024 So this one is really good, the last chapter I read was chapter 21 She’s a prisoner of war and a gorgeous princess from a fallen empire who was captured by a half dragon archduke of the enemies. She wants to stay alive at all costs. This archduke was being pressured to have a child and so she refused to commit suicide after getting caught and basically forged a lied about conceiving the archduke’s child. I guess he was disturbed because having a half-dragon child is a 100% mortality rate for the mothers and their wombs always end up getting ripped open after hours of labor. But she was desperate so he was like “you know what? I think I *will* have sex with this gorgeous girl that I definitely thought was too good for me, since she practically dragged me into it.” He paid off the royal doctor to tell the king that she wasn’t lying about being pregnant and made a contract that they are gonna have sex like crazy until an heir is actually produced. Then they have their little contract wedding to start their contract marriage and there’s this really spicy moment with the wedding kiss where she thinks he doesn’t want to kiss her so she tells him to fake it and he’s all like “if you’re gonna do it, do it properly” and just makes out with her. And there’s this ugly ass barbarian prince who like REALLY wants to kill the princess and he ambushes the two on their way home from the shotgun wedding. Archduke kills him and the mc’s carriage is hijacked by one of the bandits and rolls into a lake. She almost gives up until she exerts some kind of magical energy that boosts her upward. Her maid has a broken arm so the ml helps her bathe and get ready and stuff when they get to an inn. Then he watches over her while she sleeps but she keeps whispering how she’s cold so she wakes up to him under her and she’s like umm…something’s hard….And he’s like just ignore it and she’s like there’s no way I can ignore that and somehow they reach ml’s realm and now they have to deal with the head maid and that’s where we’re at!
