This is hands down one of the most beautiful manhwa I’ve read. “I want to forever be your autumn leaves” “play me” - these words break me. They remind me of the last scenes of the manhwa and it sends me on a crying spiral every time. I truly admire how intricately the author weaves the story, revealing bits and pieces, making connections here and there to finally allow us to see the bigger picture. The art is absolutely beautiful and a delight for the eyes. Tragic, melancholic, hopeful and evocative: the story and plot are superb. The brilliant touch of adding jazz songs and connecting it with the piano and themes of the chapters is genius too. One thing that I can’t get over is how we hear autumn leaves on the first chapters and how at the end of the story, we realize how much meaning the song holds. How it connects all the dots. This is a must read for everyone who loves manga. I hope to one day see the anime for this.

This was so so beautiful. The plot and the storytelling was what stood out the most for me. Incredibly well told, paced well and satisfying. When we look at the characters, mafuyu is definitely interesting and incredible. And oh so so brave. The way he death with yurki death and just death with trauma and overcame it. It is so satisfying to see him just straight up declare his new love and claim it. His singing is magic and he is pure strength. Ue is fiery, passionate, loving and amazing. He knows how to get things going and is just so fuckinh considerate and an incredible boyfriend. Even tho he is short tempered he checks it and apologizes and does better always. Haruki is a brilliant guardian Light and saves everyone by existing. Alihiko has depth and character and a lot of redemption. Honestly as the story progresses and we find out about haruki and akihiko, the more we understand that okay so it’s going well and redeeming well. His and uegetsu story just pained me so much. Well done though. Hiragi and shizu are so cute too. Waiting for that shop to finally sail well. Moving forward the plot still has incredible potential. Mafu and ue, haru and aki, shizu and hiragi need developments in their romance. The story could also expand to their professional careers and love lives.
