I read the other two series and now I'm reading this... It's so sad. Kan-chan really didn't deserve what was happening to him and Yumi didn't deserve what came to him either. Worse still, the true extent of what happened to Kan-chan at work was never discovered by Yumi. He never told him and thus he never knew.
