OMG this is so damn dark and sad. I loved the ending, how he found happiness and was finally safe. Throughout the story before he was rescued by the office worker I kept wanting someone to save him and when he finally was his stupid evil mother ruined it. She threw him out, didn't care about his welfare and when she got in trouble she blamed the kid. God that woman makes me angry. I know she's just a character and she's not real, but she's just do damn heartless. Saddest part of this story is how cold the mother turned towards her son all because she was angry at her husband for leaving?
This story is so close to a friend's of mine that it was hard to read without crying.
