I really, really love this author's work, but the rape ruined the story this time. No sane person would run off into the sunset with their rapist, and then call it love. This is one trope in yaoi that I have a hard time accepting because it's so damned unrealistic.

The first time I read this I had mixed feelings, and got teary-eyed. I don't like rape at all, but in this story a foolish mistake/misunderstanding ruined their lives and caused one man to abuse the other later on when they become adults. It's so sad, but at least the ending makes up for it.

Gritty, dark, and realistic. Not my favourite, but everything--art, plot and character development--was well done.

Pretty twisted story, but the ending is great! Akira is a tough cookie as well as a sweetheart, and even though it doesn't seem like it at first he does eventually come up roses, changing everyone's lives around him.

Why does there always have to be rape...? Otherwise it was good.

Definitely beautiiful art that only Zaria could produce, but not my thing.
