At one such chance encounter, TJ's former colleague and pal Mitarai notices something unusual about TJ's reaction to Shino that tips him off about their mutual attraction. When Mitarai spots Shino out about the town, he traps him into a dinner engagement and mischievously proceeds to unravel some of TJ's mystery.
