One summer night, a single mistake shatters the bond between inseparable friends and roommates Cha Jae-han and Kang Yeon-woon, leaving them estranged for nine long years. Now, just two days into his internship at Haeo Planning, Yeon-woon runs into Jae-han again. Though Yeon-woon still despises him, Jae-han keeps reappearing in his path, impossible to ignore.

“…Hello. I'm Marketing Team B's intern Kang Yeon-woon.”

Yeon-woon’s lips tremble with the effort of forcing a polite smile. Jae-han lets out a quiet laugh at the sight. The once-innocent, awkward boy had grown into a man.

“Congratulations on joining the company. Let’s see each other often from now on.”

Jae-han extends a hand, smiling with ease. At the sight of that broad palm, Yeon-woon’s chest tightens as the memory of being pulled by that same hand nine years ago creeps back in. His stomach churned.
