Maki Ibaraki is a high school girl who lives in Asakusa and loves Asakusa cuisine. This girl, who likes to poke her nose into ayakashi-related business and solve her problems by brute force, harbors a secret - she remembers her previous life. Her previous life was not that of a human, but of a demon princess called the "Ibaraki Kid", whose name resounded across the Heian period. Accompanied by Kaoru Amasake, the reincarnation of her "husband" Shuutendouji, the "Strongest Demon-bride" hurtles around Asakusa even today helping troubled ayakashi, such as Kappa Temari who is exploited at his part-time job, and a family of tanuki who run a local soba restaurant.
