Choi Eun-seong, a renowned investigative journalist specializing in cults and a famous influencer, saw his reputation crumble overnight after being convicted of defamation due to a false article written by a junior reporter. One day, he discovers that Choi No-a, a famous actor he had been investigating, is a member of Celestial Unity, also known as Celestial Association, a cult suspected of orchestrating multiple murders. Teaming up with Detective Kim Byung-seok, who was investigating a murder scene, Eun-seong uncovers the cult’s involvement in the killings. As the case unfolds, he exposes that parts of the victims’ bodies, which had gone missing from the crime scene, are in the possession of Yang Cheon-hun, the cult’s leader. With this revelation, he successfully solves the case and reestablishes his reputation as a relentless cult hunter.
