They had yet to make love, and Iris thought this would go on forever. However, after drinking a poisoned cup of rose hip tea, she suddenly collapsed. Edgar held her as she used the last of her strength to ask him, "If you wanted me dead, why didn't you just quickly divorce me?" Much to her surprise, Iris awakens and realizes she has traveled one week back in time?one week prior to being poisoned!
