Aegis / Aska
A prince of Calderaia who came to Aktan for a political marriage with Kyle. Despite his beautiful appearance, he has a violent and reckless temperament. He dislikes overthinking and complicated matters, preferring action over strategy. While openly showing hostility toward Kyle, he also hides many secrets. He is unpredictable and always seems on the verge of causing trouble.

Kyle
A prince of Aktan, the Empire of the Desert. He lives as though dead, keeping out of sight to avoid the tyrant emperor's attention. Cynical and stubborn by nature, he can't help worrying about the young prince who was dragged from a foreign land because of him (or, more accurately, because of the emperor). He wants to look after him enough to keep him from meeting a tragic end, but he's so unruly and impossible to control that he's constantly leaving Kyle bewildered.
