At a certain izakaya, mid-career BL manga artist Hikaru Takimoto is told by his manager that there is a possibility that his work will be ``cancelled.'' He was sentenced to no mercy and he was depressed. On the way home, Hikari falls into a big state of disrepair, perhaps from the daily fatigue or from drinking too much. He is scolded by Yoshiki Hoshitani, a clerk at the bar he was at earlier. Hikaru wants to thank Hikaru, so Yoshiki, who is homeless, offers to stay the night. Naturally, Hikari is a bit of an innocent person, but for some reason he takes an interest in Shiki and calls himself the "God of Death", and he invites him into his house. An unpopular BL manga artist and a self-proclaimed "God of Death" live together in a sweet way!
