Saul, a solitary and lonely archmage who lives an eternal life possessing the power of radiant miracles. He takes in Hale, a young dragon abandoned and dying in a barren valley. Although Saul truly loved Hale, he heartlessly sends him away to become independent and leaves.
Returning to the valley after a long journey of 100 years, Saul senses an unsettling atmosphere in the village but faints from poison. When he regains consciousness... a man with chilling white hair, having completely shed his youthful appearance, was waiting for him. Saul did not immediately recognize the grown man, and the man's face contorted with tears.
"...I was not in your memories, was I?"
