Summary
Everard (Eve), the third son of Lord Rotrude, had spent a long time confined to a monastery. However, due to his father's greed, a war ensued, and Eve became the target of a political marriage. He found himself in unfamiliar territory as the 'male bride' of the March Count of Tourpinen.
Initially, Eve thought he was merely a prisoner, but thanks to the kindness of March Count Oderic, he began to experience a comfortable and free life for the first time. During the peaceful and warm days that followed, they occasionally checked in on each other and had chance meetings in the garden. As they spent time together, Eve and the March Count began to grow fond of one another, ultimately leading to feelings of love.
