In the Suite

“Did you use protection?”

As I took the contraceptive pill that my ex-boyfriend’s mother had forced me to take, I decided to erase that night from my memory, along with the feelings I still held for my first love. After all, it was obvious he wouldn’t even remember it. I thought that was how our relationship had ended, but… Whether by fate or by coincidence, we met again seven years later. He said he still loved me and approached me without hesitation.

In that very suite… where we had spent an intense night, tangled in each other’s arms.
