Demon of FLame is the second novel in the Record Of Lodoss War series. It takes place 2 years after the War of Heroes. Parn and Deedlit are travelling by themselves to find Woodchuck, but have come up with nothing. They arrive in the Kingdom of Flaim to meet up with King Kashue, but they find that a strange conspiracy threatens to throw Flaim into Civil War. Parn and Deedlit investigate the conspiracy and find out that a desert tribe that supposedly worships a powerful demon is behind the whole thing.
