Ao lives with his father, who has a bad drinking habit, in a town with a beautiful view of the sea. He spends his time trying to be as inconspicuous as possible, both at his high school and at home, as if he's holding his breath. One day, while on the way home from school, he meets Minato smoking a cigarette on the station platform.
