Office worker Yeo Tae-gi falls into debt after investing heavily in Bitcoin with borrowed loan-shark money. While drowning his sorrows at a food stall, he meets a drunken woman named Chae Sang-ah. She offers him a large sum of money if he lives with her for six months; skeptical but desperate to clear his debts, he accepts. While living together, Tae-gi grows curious about Sang-ah's identity and eventually discovers a hidden curse linked to her past life. Although he initially tries to leave, he grows to pity her through the various incidents surrounding her life and ultimately decides to protect her. A war-like love story unfolds between a woman who has given up on life due to a past-life curse and a realistic man just trying to escape his miserable reality and live an ordinary life.
