Around this time, she meets a man at a bar and has a one-night stand with him.

That man is none other than Tae-hoon, an executive at the massive entertainment agency SB Entertainment.

Tae-hoon uses Eugene's success to offer her a partnership (sponsorship) and a return to the entertainment industry.

Eugene, desperate for a return to the entertainment industry, ultimately accepts Tae-hoon's hand.
