Tsunagu Kurose, a high school student with a passion for musics composing but a terrible singing voice, often receives criticisms whenever he posts them on the Internet. One day, while shouldering the responsibility of taking commemorative photos of the culture festival reluctantly with Otoha Hinomori - a quiet classmate sitting next to him, his childhood friend Tetsu Tamura was in a dilemma because of unavoidable accidents occuring on the stage run by his club. Without hesitation, Tsunagu gives him the demo instrumental songs he composed to save the situation. Unfortunately, Tetsu open the wrong music file with Tsunagu's terrible lyrics, making him feels like he wanna hole up due to that unfortunate disaster. In despair at this miserable situation, Otoha takes off her thick glasses, tightly grips the microphone and hums that song! "Isn't this voice similar to icy - the singer I've always admired...!?"
