A dark, gloomy, intelligent, handsome guy who wants to take over the world. Not overpowered, he gains skills with time. No interest in romance. Meets new people but doesn't get attached. Has a cat as a companion. And dies 2 years after he takes over the world from...something.
And the art has to be awesome.
Perfect!
