I'm from Malaysia, it's multiracial so there's many culture and language. We basically speak any language that we feel comfortable with the others as long as they understand it. My mother tongue is Chinese but I'm not fluent in it since I don't grow up with many Chinese speaking people around me. In my family only my mother can speak Chinese well. ...... reply
I speak Danish, English, German, Japanese, Spanish and Dutch (in order of proficiency, from best to worst).
I'd like to learn Arabic, Xcosa or Chinese next, but since most research seems to indicate that the limit for active fluency is around 6 languages (i.e. you're only able maintain active usage at a high proficiency luck of appx. 6 languages ...... reply
I speak arabic, english and almost spanish (I understand spanish but cant speak it that well). Tbh its hard to keep up with them I always get confused between the 3, I always speak arabic and English together Σ(っ°Д °;)っ (my family speaks both so they understand) anyways im leaving to another country soon and I plan on learning Japanese or...... 1 reply
I know spanish but I have trouble in a bit and ik English. I learned french in high school and know a small amount. But I really want to learn Japanese,, I've been studying a but and found some apps I'll try out, I've taken some notes and also found a website that's helpful in tips. reply
I learned German and English, but I am not able to speak them 100%, not even my native language(Bosnian), cause I stutter a lot #-.-)
I tried learning French and Japanese, but got lazy and gave up, so I hardly remember anything. But if I ever wanted to relearn it, I know I can.

Grade 10- Learned Spanish ((ngl I really enjoyed Spanish since its pretty similar to Tagalog so it was fun for me haha reply
