For BL in general, unrealistic storyline, typical cute innocent dumb uke is such a turn off. But I like BL with rape plots. But, not like those generic rape sex scenes. I just really hate it when the seme it's really violent with the uke, like the uke means completely that he wants to stop, he begs and does everything to stop ( I mean he is trying really hard ) but seme just doesn't listen and the uke becomes his plaything, that is so painful :'c to see.

character inconsistency .. its diff from character growth, is when u feel like the chara very OC and hypocrite. Make u ask if its the same manga you are reading. reply
destroying a character (frequently the second lead) just to give incentive to the readers to root for a particular character (case in point: the main love interest); especially if the so-called second-lead is so much more interesting as a character than the main one.
e.g. the second lead used to be kind, gentle, always by the protagonist's side, ...... reply

Dubcon and rape to love. Blech. It dulls the overall experience of love and I can handle Stockholm Syndrome in most cases, but there'd better be a well thought out /fleshed out character development showing how and why said character (s) became that way! Otherwise. ..grr!
