i prefer sub but ngl there are some good dubs. The japanese dub just gives me more emotions (when they cry or scream) and the dialouge is kinda better. I feel like the dub is sometimes better at the jokes.
For example the haikyuu dub is hilarioussss it has me DEAD i rewatched haikyuu just for the dub bc it was funny af but i still prefer sub over...... 1 reply

Totally depends. I usually prefer dub, but when it's bad, it's bad and I'd rather sub. For the most part, I work with whatever's available on Netflix :P reply
I like sub more but I respect dub because I'm dyslexic so it helped me a lot when I was learning myself how to read plus dub is really good when you want to watch anime and do something else at the same time because you don't need to watch the screen you can just listen to the voices to get what's happening. reply
Definitely subs. Like dubs don’t really hv the same meaning as subs ya know? Like there’s some expressions in the native language that fits the scene perfectly but if u try to translate it then it just sounds weird. Plus, specifically in anime, in the subs there’s more feeling conveyed. Idk when I see clips of dubbed episodes, I always think ...... reply
