Idk about your country, but in my place, when we got into high school, students get divided according to their interests. Mostly science student major, social sciences major, art and language major, engineering major, computer thing major (sorry idk how to say this), graphic design, etc. Why? I know memorization isn't the only thing that makes you smart but schools are literally built on having students memorize and know the material. When I say dumb I mean it in terms of school, not in terms of things like IQ.
