Hmm I see where you're coming from. I guess it doesn't help as well that the authors of those types of mangas (HS yaoi) themselves tend to be women aged 25-40? Canada age of consent is 16. But among consenting minors 14-15 yo can consent to sex as long as partner is less than 5 yrs older. 12-13 yo can consent as long as less than 2 yrs.
