Toxic Parents

Only kind of. My parents let me do whatever I wanted without monitoring me 24/7, all they needed to know was when I came back home. They didn't check my grades, because I always did decent and trusted if I said I did good in a test. Though they were pretty strict in other things. My mom particularly was strict about my image. Not really strict, they let me do whatever cuz I don't live with both of em and I don't talk with em unless they approach me first or if I need to say something important. My grandparents are the same even if I live with them but I guess we interact more   1 reply

My mother sees me as a perfectionist. I must not choose the paths my sisters chose. I have to be perfect no matter what. She always treats me as if i am her last hope. I think she'd start hating me if i act as a weakling.   reply
