Hi so I'm really into reading manga, I love them but when you read their original material such as novel, I'm always left with :
"God this is trash, this story is only good with its manga adaptation"
Yes there could be problem with translation but very Japanese novel that I've read has these:
- First POV
-Cliche tropes
I don't know how to explain it, as if they were written by a gradeschooler, it has the most mind numbing plot I've read, why are they like these?
Even the erotic scenes are funny.

So... all of the answers were really wholesome. Mostly about how to make friends.
I have to explain this beforehand. I have a manipulative nature. The way I socialise is mostly because I need to, not because I want to. If I find them of use, then I study them and do a list of questions I would like to ask them in my head and do an imaginary simula...... reply
