its not hard for me because i know many stories that involve male x female relationships. I did stop reading yaoi once because it felt weird reading it, but then i saw some manga that looked interesting but it was bl and i was like fuck it looks cool. so that happened. reply

I don't try to hide it but I don't go out of my way to tell them. They've seen my yaoi manga covers before, so either they don't know or they're just ignoring it completely lol. There was this one time my mom almost saw an extra yaoi postcard, which was to say the least not very safe, when I bought som stuff from animate during a yaoi event. ╮(�...... reply
Nooo I think.. however, half of my siblings and almost all of my close friends knew about it and actually I didn't try that hard to hide it I think my parents just don't care what I do 1 reply
well i searched it up, and apparently there are quite a few. the oldest was opened in 1885 in france, but there are waaaay less lesbian bars than gay ones, though i think some are like just LGBT bars.

Can't answer that question so much.. but from experience, back in the 80's in Vancouver Canada.. some bars were lesbian and some were gay.. you'd see both genders but predominantly one or the other, and there would be nights where it was one gender only. reply
Ok, so so far I’ve mostly seen yaoi manga with gay bars, where only gay men go to. There are a few exceptions, but is there any gay/lesbian bar manga out there? This is probably one of my biggest pet peeves yet.
Ok, so I just finished reading the rose of versailles, and it made me cry. Right now, I want a happy romance manga to help me forget about it. I don’t care about when the manga was written, I just don’t feel like any yaoi right now. It’s the middle of the day and I prefer reading stuff like that at night. Thank you.
