I don’t really stan kpop groups but the first kpop group I listened to by myself was X1. I was watching YouTube and their mv for Flash came on. I really enjoyed it. reply
For me i was a hardcore stan for 2pm during their my house era . My cousin introduced me to their music and that’s how I got into Kpop in general. For girl groups my first was Girls Day during 2014 (darling something) . Hands down exo. My sister was big into bts and I really liked them too but the moment I heard kyungsoo and baekhyun sing together in what is love it was game over for me. the first group i hardcore stanned was BTS because i saw their blood sweat & tears music video and thought it was so cool and checked their content out. my first girl group was blackpink after seeing a fine bros reaction video with both bts & blackpink in it (⌒▽⌒) reply
the first groups that i've stanned were 2ne1 and shinee, but i wasn't a very hardcore stan, until exo's debut, god i remember i was like that until 2015, i've buy every cd, i even buy two fansite's photobooks and watched every perfomance or tv apparition reply

you could check out loona!! they have different subunits so:
if you like ballads -> loona 1/3
if you like r&b -> loona odd eye circle (oec)
and yyxy (idk exactly what their genre is)
and they all have solo songs! each song is unique and they all have different genres of music.

I've been an EXO-L since 2013 and I didn't regret stanning EXO. I only stan one group but I still listen to other kpop group's song like seventeen, red velvet, blackpink, got7. I also listen to BOL4 and IU's songs ( /^ω^)/♪♪ reply
