I think people are generalizing a bit too much. Fujoshis are anyone who enjoys reading or watching BL/yaoi. It's a large genre, with a large audience and therefore polarizing opinions. Most fujoshis are not toxic or obsessive- they just also enjoy reading material that portrays 2 men.

I always feel off when the couple is talking about positions and the uke/usual bottom asks to be on top and the seme/usual top laughs it off or immediately rejects it.
Like, why even put that shit in there if it was never going to happen? I would've been much more accepting of them just never having talked about it in the first place, or if it too...... 1 reply
exhibitionism. idk man i feel like if you really liked someone you wouldn’t want to fuck them in front of a group of people... not to kink shame lol i just can’t get behind it reply
I really dislike it when the uke has this weird protruding canine tooth, I think people call it "a cute little fang"? It's gotta be the least attractive manga character trait I've ever seen 1 reply
screaming about the misogynistic traits etc in stories isn't gonna do shit, especially on a website like this. If you have a problem go talk directly to authors. please understand that the creators don't live in westernised countries so don't find it surprising if being gay is depicted as bad in a manga. 2 reply
BL is a massive category that has existed over years and a lot of the books from the early 2000s are just shoujo romance manga with 2 men. BL also ranges form fluff to porn sometimes the odd perspective changing story moment can happen. I think all the community issues are just children and/or people who read 5 books that were published in 2004 2 reply
I'm pan/bi, I read many manga genres, including yaoi/yuri. Tbh I think many yaoi/yuri have nice plots and well built characters, I could relate to some of the situations sometimes too. At the same time many others are just written as erotica, and usually for straight ppl fetishes. I understand how annoying it is to see cliches and stereotypes, or f...... reply
If you aren’t straight, wtf are you here? BL’s written for straight women. So take your soap box and move on Oh Great Hypocrite Who Loves To Judge. It’s like an infestation of cockroaches. Someone likes something, but people like you incapable of empathy, have no problem debasing others if they don’t fall into your approved stereotypes. 10 reply
