"Are you Asian?" or "Are you Chinese?"
I get it, you want to get to know me. But really? I don't go around asking white people if they're Caucasian. And no, not all Asian people are Chinese. I really hate it when people ask if I'm Chinese and if I answer no, they look at me strangely. China is NOT the only Asian country people. 1 reply
Not really said to me but I hear it a lot. Whenever my dad is talking to his friends, he’s always comparing me to their children. Saying how I know nothing and I can’t take care of myself. And then the next thing I know, he’s bragging about how good my grades are and how I’m really smart?? reply
"How old are you?" I really feel offended when people ask for my age like I look really young so if i tell them I'm 20 they will be like no way and give me dirty looks and probably avoid speaking to me.
