Doubt anyones gonna to read this entire long ass post but been just wanting to get this off my chest for a while. Gonna gfto this section after this. Most ppl don’t come to this site to read sophisticated content or to achieve some sort of enlightenment, it’s an illegal yaoi manga site for fuck sake (mangago has been more catered towards yaoi since the beginning. There’s lots of other manga sites with loads other content if you hate it so much).

Actual constructive criticisms are fine (and rare), but I’ve been mainly seeing mindless berating and repetition of the same trite arguments (like we get it already) often with very little substance or nuance. Most scanlation teams are spending their own money and time getting raws and translating everything for free to share what they enjoy, getting rarely any appreciation in return. If you’re always so heated and can’t let go about the content being shared on this site, then use the filtering system on this site to block entire genres. Or use another site. Or actually buy and translate your own manga you like. Scanlators and mangakas don’t owe you anything. No need to constantly be riled up and police what works others are allowed to enjoy.

Also it’s really not that deep or serious sometimes, I’m just here for some stupid fun. I’m aware enough to recognize the problematic tropes in the works I read (they exist in every genre). If a work crosses my boundaries/don’t like it, I acknowledge it, give it a bad rating/review, and move on with my life. Why relentlessly berate everyone who has the audacity to like the fictional works you disliked. Plus my tolerance/standards are different in real life vs. the stupid self indulgent fictions I read (and I’m very clear on the distinction). I just want to turn off my brain for a bit and have fun looking at pretty characters, sorry if I’m not looking to analyze every problematic aspect of every guilty pleasure manga I read on this site. Don’t we all need a break and be “off” sometimes?

Whatever, ppl who want to argue are going to do so no matter what lol. Now that’s it’s finally off my chest, I’m gonna try and ignore the questions from now on (it’s so in your face whenever you open a manga :/ ). It’s ruining a lot of the fun, and that’s really all I’m here for.
