I was there when the 2021 accident happened its such a chaotic event when the author be biting and starting a war here and there, all the comment section was turn off and the site was unstabled, i even got my old account hacked, haha what a day reply
I only made my account recently. But does anyone else experienced that fashion lib or whatever page when you refresh the page you're reading on. The url of the manga page you're on even changes to that fashion site after a while. There's also that one time when mangago was down for a while, a bit longer than usual though, and people spammed #mangag...... 1 reply
I didn't make a account for at least a year bouncing around different manga websites. But booooooooy do I remember the drama that unfolded in the community tabs. Honestly the mangago news account was the only thing that saved me on trying to keep track of it all. reply
Japanese manga used to absolutely dominate this site, mainly because there weren't many popular Korean BL manhwa until the 'Great Killing Stalking Incident' of 2016. BL in Japan has been popular for a very long time compared to the very new-found popularity in Korea. You can even see how most Japanese BL are in physical form (books, magazines, etc....... reply
holy shit i remember the july 2021 incident. it was basically poor fujoshi's/fundanshi's 9/11 cuz it wasn't just this site turning off their comments it was a ton of others too. I remember one of the rly popular ones straight up deleted the whole yaoi/shounen ai section but not yuri/shoujo ai??? it was after this i think that a bunch of the smaller...... reply
