While I agree that if reading something you KNOW you won’t like just for the sake of shitting on it is dumb (except if it’s twilight) I’m gonna have to disagree with that statement. If somebody in the comments/questions say that something made them uncomfy or they didn’t like a certain element in a story or gendre LET THEM SPEAK??? Like HELLO?? Saying “don’t read it if you don’t like it” is invalidating criticism often valide and just putting down the other ppl. It’s basically telling them to shut up and suck if up because you like the story and see no wrong with it (weirdo).
Now some ppl are dumb like if you complain about killing stalking having violence but yk others just wanna share their opinions and honestly knowing why somebody didn’t like a certain piece of media is helpful for new readers. Gives you like of list of “TW”.
