All questions about waiting for updates

Is Magical Boy on here? Cause I've been searching for it for a while also is it just happening to me or are the photos not uploading for some manga? Ik mangago is talking abt some "use other function" but what other function??

I use this all the time it's for both manga and anime. Anime Planet has literally all mangas in existence on it so you can keep everything your reading written down just in case Mangago ever gets taken down or is offline again for a few days. Is there a setting on here that will show a notification even a bookmarked manga updates?

For me, it depends on how interesting the plot is, but it can also be based on the quality of the translation/the effort put in. I have waited for updates on mangas that need to be translated only to get one chapter after waiting for over a year (which is fine by me lolol). Ultimately, I can wait forever if I know that the author/translator is still motivated to update.

If a chapter takes too long to update, people may lose interest. If chapters are uploaded too frequently, people may feel overwhelmed and not read at all. The ideal situation is around 1 chapter every 1~2 weeks, but that doesn't work out at times.

Many people complain about wanting faster updates on manga/manhua/manwha/webcomics/etc., but where do you personally draw the line? What do you think the ideal update schedule should be?
