He was a deadbeat alcoholic. He'd be constantly wasted and get into screaming matches with my mom. Passed out drunk onto a 5 ft tall glass vase, shattering it everywhere, when he was supposed to be acting like a father to me while my mom was out of the country. Don't remember my age at the time, but I was young enough that I needed a step stool to ...... 1 reply
Was an alcoholic and drug addict who abused and beat my mom, me, and my sisters up until 2 years ago when he decided to get sober for my little brother (he hates women and always wanted a son but ended up with 3 daughters first). Also handed down bipolar disorder, caused me to literally have PTSD induced depression, and he couldn’t work because o...... reply

To be honest though my father has never been emotionally there for us. Not once have we ever sat down and had a meaningful conve...... 4 reply
my dad is a very great man. he has sacrificed a lot for our family, but his insensitivity that lgbtqia+ people are human too is killing me a lot, and i say this as a pans & trans person. he's there both emotionally and physically, and i know i may sound like an asshole, but he is too detached from things that i deem important for everyone to be awa...... 1 reply
Indeed he has. He has a new family, house, children, a women and completely left my family behind. The last words he ever said to me was goodbye and thats it. He never once said happy birthday, Christmas, halloween, or any holiday for that matter. But it deeply affected me because i was a little kid wondering why my dad and mom never got along with...... 2 reply
Man, that hits right in the middle of my right kidney. My dad sees us as assets, a way to prove his 'amazing' upbringing to every human being we know and we don't know. My siblings and I were abused when we were younger, whether it be physically or mentally, so we kinda became immune to any sort or form of abuse. Whenever we remember situations we ...... reply
