You know that moment when you come across a comment on a story you really like that forces you to look at a truth about the said liked story, and upon seeing that truth, you can never look at that story the same way again, and your heart ends up breaking a bit… It’s not like you meant to overlook, nor ignore the small details, it just never registered. Yeah, that just happened today…. Man, I glorified the ML too quick. Don’t get me wrong! The ML is great! It’s just what I thought was 99% was actually less than that. Recently saw a tweet that there are a lot of young Korean feminists who are preparing to leave the country after the new president was an anti feminist which lead a lot of people on the internet threaten to stab women which happened irl. They keep wondering why birth rates are so low even though there are creeps and such a high expectation for women (Korean beauty standards) and get bullied and humiliated because you’re a feminist makes women want to move out or not make a family. There’s also a possibility that women’s rights department would be abolished and replaced by a low birth rate resolution department. The solution to this is to make women comfortable, don’t punish the people who wanted justice, punish the people in high power and not get swayed by hush money but they only punish them if the news gets so much attention, (they only did this for their reputation but people already know how bad it is) simple as that but I know it would be difficult if a lot of politicians and misogynist don’t want to.
