Yaoi wasn't invented by queer women, it was invented by cishet women to express themselves in different sexual norms and inserting themselves into romance - hence why so many yaoi and other BL manga play the same way as a cishet relationship, why so many characters are "women." reply
I'm not into labels but I guess I can say I'm considered lgbt+. And I absolutely have no problems with straight women liking BL. I encourage it! It opens empathy for relationships developed between 2 men and I always think it's amazing we all share the same sentiments that all relationships between humans regardless of genitals is beautiful.
