Fight With My Family

I do, sometimes. We all have different eating schedule so most of the times it's only my parents on the table, my dad with my big bro, or me and my big sister, or we just ate by ourselves. I prefer to eat by myself in my room but when my big sis is in the house she always drag me out and demand me to eat with her because she can't stand the silence......   1 reply

Yep. My parents have this rule that if you don’t eat as soon as the food arrives on the table, don’t blame the people eating if you have no more food left. So everyone scrambles to the table, when there’s food haha. I guess it forces us to eat together lmao hahahaha and we literally just eat and usually talk after eating. I'm asian so I wasn't allowed to eat anywhere but the dining table ┑(￣Д ￣)┍ I'd like to ask tho, how do you eat in your room? Like do you get some food and take it up to your room or does someone just leave it infront of your door? Ack, I feel bad for yall. My family gets along fine and usually our moods are decent (unless there was some sort of conflict) so we eat together. But even if we do have some fights, we still eat together tho. I feel pretty lucky when I read most of the answers to this question :, (sorry if this offends anyone)   reply

I have this type of mindset when I eat, I feel like when I’m at the table I’m not allowed to talk or laugh bc I was always yelled at as a child. The table is always quiet, so I find family dinners really uncomfortable but that’s just me. But I’m glad to hear other people have dinners with their families and enjoy them :)   1 reply
