Considering that this is one of the first gay piece of media to get such an adaptation, I'm disappointed. It's not about it being "fiction" or that it's not romanticized, it's that many people will see it, fans and first timers alike, and for many people this might be the first exposure to homosexuality. They r makin it a 3rd animation tho so I dont know I feel like ot will look much more dark with the animation I wish they just did it as anime other than 3rd.. But im fine with it ‘︿’ reply
It's not a good idea.
I feel that KS is generally a bad piece of fiction, because it feeds off on pain and torture of gay men. The comic is literally about a mentally unwell boy who is kidnapped, abused and raped multiple times. The sexual scenes are presented in a way that is supposed to be "intriguing" and "sexy", even tho the act itself is horr...... 5 reply
I think it would be better suited for a movie and I am somewhat worried that the 3d animation is going to be bad but other than that I'm not against it being made 1 reply
As long as people treat it as a psychological thriller/horror and nothing more. The relationship/story isn't meant to romanticised at all. It definitely isn't supposed to be boy love. 2 reply
The link above talks about the recent rumors of KS getting adapted to anime. Since this is a pretty controversial series, I want to know how y'all feel about this. Nothing is set in stone yet, but what's your opinions on KS being animated?
