Something I should clarify is that the only manga I read is 98% BL, with 1% being 'post-anime' and another 1% divided between 'mangas I read before I discovered BL' and 'Yuri with Smut'.

Its a really glorified thing in the romance genre itself. Well its known more in BL i guess especially with newer works that got popular like lowtide twilight, passion and such. People often brush aside the toxic traits of the characters OR they find it as a positive or attractive trait of them, seeing it as 'hot' and 'sexy' or they just dgaf yknow...... reply
