romanticising r*pe is never ok. of course a good portrayal of it can raise awareness, but the way many yaoi authors romanticise it makes it seem less bad and traumatic, which is romanticising it. the whole “it’s just fiction” is not an excuse, because these stories are still made and read by real people, and making it seem like a not so bad t...... reply

As a lesbian, I have been called fag, faggot, dyke and honestly- it really doesn't matter. Minorities shouldn't have to "gatekeep" or whatever you call it because we don't know the experience of said group. I don't really care if a gay guy says "dyke" but I can understand it.
