Pretty sure "a gay man" doesn't mean "all lgbt+ people". Just because someone called you something offensive doesn't mean you get to reclaim it. I've been called the d-slur plenty of times but I don't get to reclaim it because I'm not wlw and therefore the word has nothing to do with me.
