I'm biased and know my opinion is not really fair but I've had my own experiences and I honestly think men would go as low as the law allows them. Personally I never really cared when it came to other people shipping fictional or real-life people as long as they weren't toxic or harming anyone in any way, if that makes sense. I mean, for example, my friends would say that "oh idol_ and idol_ should be together since they're so compatible.." and I never minded that but when I would hear about fans being like "NO THEY ARE MEANT TO BE TOGETHER" I would get upset and even disgusted especially when they would out-right say it to the people when they are visibly uncomfortable.
