Have An Unpopular Opinion

So basically, when I’m reading a comic or something and see a certain type of character (there’s no specific character traits that I look for) that piques my interest, I usually hone in on that character. I mean, the mc could be dying and I’ll be too busy looking for panels with my fav character to notice. Is this a bad habit, I mean I’ll still pay attention to the story, but I tend to pay a little less attention to the chapter or scene if the character isn’t there (づ￣ ³￣)づ
